I don't understand you, Zurirollt. You want to stay, but you want to go. Now you want to lurk.

I sympathize with your situation and am glad you're enjoying life again. That's a huge accomplishent in itself. What I don't appreciate is this passive aggressivenenss that EF is a problem when you've done much of the pot stirring yourself.

I hope you find your peace.
My original reply has been deleted I’m informed. So I will post something similar again (although my original post was much kinder):

I deeply feel offended by the term “lurking”, as well as the “passive aggressive” bit. Your “passive aggressive” posts are one of the main factors that made me not want to not post actively anymore. Ridiculous.

My reply has been deleted too. Guess we're in the same boat.

Naaa, he just went for the heart.

And as we know Tom eats anything - I wonder where 22yards is lately?

That will come for being reasonable (again) here.
Ah, yeah, "I love you if you're good" psychology. Nasty stuff.

In the light of this thread, I'd like to say that the EF gave back immensely. I obtained 2 jobs from the EF, made long-lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. For instance, I vividly remember how on one of the KFC outings, we arrived about 32+ deep to the KFC in Mulhouse, France (that was way back when there wasn't a KFC available in CH, ya noobs) and staff were literally run over by the sudden influx of English speaking patrons. Legend has it, that ***** (forum member's name withheld for privacy reasons ) consumed 5 Zinger burgers. Yeah, it was fun and at times, it wasn't fun. I'm not talking about the frequent spats we all have had with various members. But in the darkest moments, we always came together as one. I'm talking about whenever one of us passed away. It felt like loosing a family member and in a sense, we tend to, or at least used to talk to each other more than we talk to our immediate family or OH. I absolutely understand when somebody needs a break from EF. . .I've had my fair share of hiatus and flounced quite a few times but I always came back and was glad to see old familiar "faces". This being said, I entered the scene back in the days like a bull in a China shop and after getting banned numerous times, I won over the heart of 22 Yards (yeah right ) and I was made a mod, much to the chagrin of well, most people. Regardless, the EF provided me not only with entertainment, friendship and useful information but it functioned and still functions as a community and we should all be thankful for it. . .why don't we all just tune it down a notch, be thankful and group hug.
Kumbaya!

Can we group hug with masks on? And, I don't have any. Anyone got a spare mask???

I had a fever and runny nose last week and thought...how can I be sure it's not the Corona? And does it really matter?

I can't help but think that we're in for one nasty viral flu season.

I think you can safely exclude Corona if you've not left your house or let anyone in for at least the past 24 days. HTH.

Yes, flu seems quite bad this year, at least in the States. An otherwise healthy 43-yo dad of two died from flu last week in my hometown, and he wasn't the first this year.

It's fasnacht and I actively participate in parades. In fact, there are times I get quite close to the spectators.

I'm not sure how anyone can stop such a virus.
