Monstera Deliciosa-is this root rot?

I am propogating this Monstera in water and now intend to put it in soil. Two of the roots have black tips. Could this be root rot? Can I just cut the black tips off?

I'm not much of an expert on monstera, but it's quite normal when you propagate stuff in water that not every root tip survives, and sometimes stuff dies back without there being any reason to be worried about.

On the other hand, that photo looks as if it has more than enough roots to survive, so I guess it's better to be safe than sorry and cut them off. If you do, be sure to cut off more than just the dead bit. A couple of cm extra should be fine.
