Lol, not for the guy
If the women has no children then it can be a huge winner for the man, depends if you are looking for a GF, a family or a blended family.

There's an expiration date on everything.

Re: Swiss men and dating

Let's summarise.....

@OP,

It's not your education or your job. According to EF men are looking for younger, nice smelling, fertile partners with large hips and a capacity to push.

Other than that, perhaps you should ask them. Like after a failed job interview...ask them to give you a feedback. Why weren't you seen as a suitable match? Obviously someone from the competition was seen in a more positive light, but why was that? Your perception about the "competition" might be totally wrong.

And last.....are you set only on Swiss men and why? They might get that vibe that's you're in also for a passport or a suitable "situation" and are not fond of these types of arrangements. Who knows, they might even believe in love?

Maybe the feminine, kind, calm, selfless, thoughtful, joyous, mindful, nurturing, gentle, loving, relaxed, smiling, humble, sane, creative, appreciative, talented, clean, balanced, healthy, soft-spoken, sensual is more attractive to them than
controlling, egocentric, entitled, arrogant, bitter, vicious, manipulative, stressed out, opportunistic, greedy, needy, crass, cold, angry, insane, uncreative, robotic-spoken, unhealthy, critical, tense, messy, busy and non-sensual is.

It's perfectly possible to be a feminine feminist. They terms are not mutually exclusive.

I think the "butch" looking ones are just easier to notice because they confirm the stereotypes. (confirmation bias)

The more radical ones do often tend to be ugly/butchy though.

They've probably been rejected by men a lot due to their unkemptness and thus gravitate towards the man-hating side of the movement.

Hi there
I know this might sound small-minded and stupid, but I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I have been living in Switzerland for 3 years now and work as a quantum analyst.
I have tried dating swiss men but it always goes wrong. Then I started noticing that they tend to tale seriously women with no education from poorer/needier backgrounds. It seems like every time they find out I am financially independent and have a PhD They get super turned off! this did not happen to me in other countries where I lived (Canada, Germany, Holland). In these countries men seem to appreciate having someone at their own intellectual height, someone to talk to and who goes to work as well.
How come swiss men are so much into women who are from poorer mentalities and financially needier (especially since they are not even up to picking up a dinner bill at least not with a professional woman)?

Well, the quantum analysts that I have dated in the past seem to have appreciated me. I try not to make it a habit.
PS. Am not „butch“

Or maybe they were discriminated against based on their looks? And not in personal relations, I don't mean that. Who could tell what makes some people more vocal. Do you also think that feminists from FEMEN are ugly/butchy? They seem pretty militant/radical to me.

My point is that feminism is not a uniform movement. It can't be. And the perceived "radical" ones (haven't really seen anything that would label them that way, maybe figuratively speaking or whatever) are not necessarily radical because they turned bitter after a few rejections from some males. You might have man-haters among women who declare themselves feminists, sure. But also among women who couldn't care less about feminism. Man-hating doesn't make one a feminist. Neither the "ugliness" a radical feminist.

I think some people tend to dismiss certain persons only because, in their mind/opinion, they fit some sort of stereotypes.

For "a failure to communicate" there in fact should be an intent to communicate to start with. I don't blame her, after the "It must be you" aggressive shaming efforts here.
