I've contacted a few people to see whether we could do a podcast and address certain issues on a weekly basis; just so that we could function as a community and possibly alleviate some concerns and stave off our ennui. After all, we're in the same boat at the moment.

wow, efficient, irrespective of the result, they have at least registered the suggestion and maybe can put it in practice for future emergency events- thanks again LIB, keep us updated...i always knew oltenites had persuasive ways!

Vielen Dank für den Vorschlag. Das ist aktuell nicht geplant, dies auch im Sinn der Gleichbehandlung unserer Kundinnen und Kunden. Am Wichtigsten ist es, dass alle die Empfehlungen des BAG umsetzen.

Dazu haben wir in unseren Läden bereits zahlreiche Massnahmen umgesetzt:
Wir haben unsere Mitarbeitenden bezüglich konsequenter Einhaltung der grundlegenden Hygienemassnahmen informiert und instruiert.
Zusätzlich haben alle unsere Mitarbeitenden in den Verkaufsstellen Zugang zu Desinfektionsmittel. In allen Läden haben wir für unsere Kundinnen und Kunden Handdesinfektionsmittel aufgestellt.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is currently not planned, also in the sense of treating our customers equally. The most important thing is that everyone implements the recommendations of the BAG.

We have already implemented numerous measures in our stores:
We have informed and instructed our employees about consistent compliance with the basic hygiene measures.
In addition, all of our employees in the sales outlets have access to disinfectants. We have set up hand disinfectants for our customers in all stores.


We have stepped up daily cleaning, which also includes self-checkout counters, cash register terminals and shopping trolleys.


We have put up posters at our cash registers that indicate social distancing and the possibility of card payment. In addition, eye-catching distance lines are placed on the floor in front of the cash registers. We also inform our customers about in-store radio regarding social distancing in the point of sale. Protective screens are currently not planned.


We continuously check which other measures are reasonable and feasible.

it's good they came back with a quick answer - didn't really refer to the elderly opening hours aside from "treating our customers equally"...lol how very swiss and neutral... but i guess it's good they are implementing somewhat the hygiene measures.
another thing we noticed here in SG since the virus is that our malls and shops have reduced opening hours (only 1-2 hrs less) this was to reduce staff exposure and also there has been a reduction in tourism. wonder if this will happen during this month lockdown in CH?

The regular info printed on big posters we can read, of course.
But if they inform about something else via instore tannoy...we're up shit creek without a paddle! And that goes for all other shops, SBB etc too

Also if personnel starts to wear masks and refuses to lift them so that we could lipread......oh the joys of life on deaf row!!

Ihren Vorschlag mit den Öffnungszeiten leitete ich an die Genossenschafter weiter. Gerne teile ich Ihnen nachstehend noch unsere Massnahmen mit:

Für Nachschub ist gesorgt und wir füllen die Regale so schnell wie möglich auf. Es ist nicht nötig, Notvorräte anzulegen.
