BBQ in the grass between apartment buildings. Ride the bike in the hills around home. Drive around Jurapark area with the roof down.
Blimey, Juraparc is a long way from home- and yu can't drive around there either ?

https://www.juraparc.ch/

or did you mean 'Jura region? - and that is very big, long and wide- from Basel+ to Geneva+

Staying at home - taming a crow - never a better time than Covid to tame a Corvid.

Re: Easter - where are you going?

Going away for Easter? Not likely. Normally this is where I come back to after the ski season finishes, for a holiday, so this year it's just starting earlier.

Easter is just another day for us, no different really except the wife won't be working and the shops will be closed Friday and Monday, so just two weekends back to back, really.

The good news is that the pool is now at 26C and staying there thanks to the warm sunny weather, the fruit trees are starting to bud and will be flowering in a few days, the grass is growing , and the birds are singing.

Re: Easter - where are you going?

Here's the Ticino's appeal for people NOT to come there now. As in Stay At Home.
https://vimeo.com/400965315

and from here 02.04.2020
https://www.bluewin.ch/de/news/schwe...en-375920.html
....several local mayors do not want tourists from German-speaking Switzerland over these days in Ticino. «We have full hospitals, resources are exhausted. We have to avoid the arrival of the German-speaking Swiss at Easter, » says Giovanni Cossi, President of the Mayors' Conference

Oh how I wish we had bought the house with a pool I wanted, rather than the "lock up and leave" house my husband chose so that we were freer to go up and down to our holiday apartment, which, of course, we are now not allowed to do.

I shall be cycling in the Zuri Oberland looking longingly at the Lake.

Weather looks good, people have been cooped up, traditionally a time to migrate, or at the very least day trip.

I spoke to the neighbours on one side (Swiss). They are off to their apt. on Lake Luzern. My boss (Swiss) is having an extended family holiday for a week in the mountains somewhere (he's already gone). Other neighbours (Swiss) are putting the roof box on the car.
We've seen reports on EF of tourist sites being frequented already. Two people hiking up a mountain tumbled to their deaths in GL on Sunday.

Will we be seeing queues at the Gotthard tunnel as per usual?

Where are you going? Are you going to flaunt the advice? Who will be the first to admit their plans and be pecked to death and heavily condescended on EF?
If (in your words) a person is "flaunting government advice" then they are not being 'condescended', they are being (rightly) criticised for increasing the risk to themselves and others during a pandemic situation.

We’re going nowhere.

We abandoned our plans to visit family in the UK long ago as we could see where this was going.

Re: Easter - where are you going?

With this weather it'll be a few bike trips, motorised and human powered. The Black Forrest would be nice this time of year as the Passes are still closed but I'll manage.

Off to the holiday home to roast a goat and cut fire wood.

And to Italy for a few hours Thursday during my lunch break.

Have to agree. So it's Easter, so what? How many times do you need to hear/read "Stay at Home!" before it sinks into your thick skulls.

Yeah, we were planning to go to the UK over Easter weekend and stay for a couple of weeks, but never booked anything because it was pretty obvious we weren't likely to make it. So will just stay indoors as we've been doing for the past 3 weeks. Might get some gardening done, it certainly needs it!

Day hikes at least 2 days out of 4.
Perhaps a BBQ with myself on the balcony.

Re: Easter - where are you going?

Just safely visit a family member few kilometers away from us and most of the time stay at home!

Balcony should be my remedy for lack of fresh air. (Except for those annoying pollen allergies in both of us that we still need to combat)

My balcony. Probably some cycling around... & maybe a dip in the lake in a secluded spot.

Is that a euphemism or are you taming a crow?

When I was a kid, a neighbor snatched some baby crows from the nest and gave us one. Great pet. It would follow my sister and I around on bike rides then take off and come home a few hours later. Sadly we found Clyde dead under a power pole at the end of summer.
