Swiss-German Word of the Day

Speaking to the locals who live in the smaller towns, I find myself still learning new words, or words that are on the brink of extinction. This thread is to help you remember that word you've learned or share one that you think is interesting.

I'll start with a word I learned on August 1:

Reiss
Definition: Korrekt, richtig
Region: Schwyz
Context: Es isch nit Reiss gsi.... Er het muesse wieder afa.
