Is there a Consumer Protection Office in CH?

Hi,
I bought a CHF 4.5k bike from Bikester

They sent me a 2 years older and cheaper model than what i oder.
I have been pinging them for 10 days without any answer.

Is there a consumer protection organization where I can make an official claim?

Thanks!

Instead of submarine technology you might have more luck using the good old snail mail, best in form of a registered letter.

PS: You are aware that you are dealing with a German company?

Since it's German, here's a website [Disclaimer: I know nothing about it, just googled] with many pages of advice about how to go through the proper procedures, in Germany.

From my link above.

It should also be noted that under Swiss law it is possible to obtain a domain name ending in .ch even if the headquarters of the company concerned is not based in Switzerland. Websites ending in .ch are not necessarily associated with a company headquartered in Switzerland.

They have pretty good reviews, but they are all from a far past!

If you study carefully, you will see that lately they have tons of customers complaints, no phone number or office, and facebook page fuuuull of complaints.
If I would have checked the comments more carefully I could have predict this and would not have ordered.
Too late for me, but still on time for you

Thanks to all the rest, will see what i can do, I guess nothing and I have to consider my 4.500 CHF trashed

How did you pay? If with credit card, do a chargeback.

Yes, but call the credit card company, tell them your story and ask for their advice.

Yes. Let Bikester know that they have 48 hrs to reply or you will proceed with a chargeback given they are obviously acting not in good faith.

Then do the process with your credit card company and send them proof of email exchanges.

Good luck.
