They were not. Didn't think it wise to point it out.

It seems pretty clear that she was complying with the rules from her post.

So sorry to hear and hope all will turn out well. Sorry again, as I understood he had gone to visit family instead of quarantining at home. All the very best, and apologies.

HooBoy, talk about incompetence, seems the main problem was that they were writing it down with a pen on paper and as most of those who tested positive were returning from Kosovo, who´s mastery of the German language is not up to scratch. The writers wrote down wrong numbers or had a number the wrong way or could not understand what they were being told. Another, smaller, group was returning from Spain and had the same problems.
All in all the critique is that the Bavarian minister president and Bundeskanzler wannabe wanted to send out the strong message of being a "doer" and a "mover." Pity it backfired.

And who said Germans think irony is an ingredient in breakfast cereal.
It seems that a number of testers on the Autobahn have been infected and now the whole bally lot are under quarantine.
Now they are going to outsource the testing to a privat company, let‘s see how well that works out.

My 10 day quarantine ended last Friday after midnight. No calls, nothing.
I wasn't worried about the police coming to knock my door. I only thought: what if someone at my job gets sick, they do some tracing and they find out just by asking "did one of your colleagues just returned from vacation?". The sick person could have contracted the virus anywhere but the suspect that would have lots of troubles would be the one coming from a high-risk country.
I'm today at the office and telling everyone I stayed 10 days at home | The following 7 users would like to thank Axa for this useful post: | |

| | Re: Quarantine police | Quote: | | | | | How is a negative test useful. If someone was exposed, a test could be negative for up to 14 days in 99% of cases. If the traveller has a negative test in that time, they could still have virus in their body multiplying, just below the testing threshold. | | | | | The most likely place to catch covid-19 at this point is the f* airport, where anyone and everyone has been holidaying in the wrong places. Doesn't matter if you been to Spain or Greenland, the fact is that you both be standing next to each other in McDonalds, Starbucks, the passport check, the luggage pickup etc etc.

| | Re: Quarantine police | Quote: | | | | | I'm glad to hear there are checks because there are none going on in Britain. Someone I know went to their holiday place in Spain for 2 weeks and came back, but they weren't that bothered about the self quarantine situation and there is nobody enforcing anything. | | | | |
I've flown back to the UK 6 times now in the last two months and not once has anyone at border control remotely checked anything. Walked straight through e-gates.
The only ones who have even asked about them have been Easyjet staff who have on occasion handed out paper copies to people who didnt have one on the plane.

Had to stay home sick more than ever before since I started there.
Good news is...my office is actually moving to the airport soon - so I can eat my lunch and spent 8 hours a day there, in addition to riding the train home with all the travelers coming to/from it. Yipppeee!!

If there's one risky job these days is serving drinks in an airplane, but what's going on?

Cabin crews are exposed to a rather limited number of people in comparison to an airport which receives all of the airplane passengers and crew in one place...

Also, the majority of cabin crew are young(-ish), fit and without any pre-existing conditions, otherwise they would struggle to pass the medical exam.

Business people who have no choice and too many holiday makers who don't care, don't wash their hands, don't ware masks and sneeze and cough over everything and everyone else .
If you've had covid-19 and it didn't go well but you're still here, you won't be planning to try and re-catch it... it isn't just like flu. Even if you're fit and healthy it can take months to recover. I read reports of individuals who have lost their sense of smell and taste, it sounds too close for comfort.
I caught something a decade ago that partly destroyed my hearing on one side. I didn't even realise I was losing it until after I nearly got run down by a bus. I was crossing the road and didn't hear it coming. You have five senses and believe me you miss any of them dearly the day you lose them.

This is beyond stupid.
