UFO in the sky over Lausanne - what is it?

I saw the above today in the sky over Lausanne. Looked like two round doughnuts, more or less floating like air balloons. What are these and what are they for?

On a serious note, no idea

They are the latest COVID-doughnuts, capable of detecting people who don't wear face mask on public transport.

The next version will be capable of emitting heat waves to fry such non complying humans.

Think it's time to upgrade that phone / camera..

Why is every "UFO" a grainy pic taken on an old nokia phone.

Context too .. a dot in the sky with no other object for reference, it could be the size of an actual donut or it could be a mile across..

Re: UFO in the sky over Lausanne - what is it?

Last time I thought I saw a mysterious flying object (was trying to identify the type of drone), it was a helium balloon in the shape of the letter "A" that had flown away. These kind of look like they might be the same.

Good choice!
I took this on an XS https://imgur.com/gallery/6mXWodT

You can see context, you can even zoom in and see the logo on the Zeppelin UFO.

I have the 11 Pro now, that's better with the zoom

Don;t use the digital zoom.. Just click on the object of interest and take the photo.. Crop later if required.

Re: UFO in the sky over Lausanne - what is it?

The U.S Navy just recently declassified a couple of interesting videos. On top of all the other videos from the A.F, NASA, etc. One of their favorite games they like to play is to completely disable a nuclear launch site. Happens all the time to every single nuclear nation. Look it up. When one person tells this story it sounds unbelievable, but we have thousands, from every nuclear nation, every story the same. Hmmm. At least they seem to want peace. Much better than an invasion, IMHO. Although maybe we do need to be invaded.

Anyways, to suggest we are alone in this universe is mathmatically impossible and makes you look stupid. The evidence is overwhelming. But since your so smart, please expain how these flying objects make our most advance fighter jets look like an horse drawn chariot. I got all night.

Funny how these omnipresent ufos are only spotted by whacked out hippies on poor quality film in the middle of nowhere.

Honestly, if they were "floating like balloons", my first guess would be that they are balloons.

I had to read it twice, but I get it now. "They" (bolded in your quote) are aliens, extra-terrestrials from outer space, right? (It was a bit difficult to follow because you used the third person plural pronoun right after listing a number of third person entities, so naturally I connected the two. Or is "they" the preferred gender pronoun of aliens?)

I don't recall ever reading a single report about a nuclear launch site being disabled, let alone thousands, and by extraterrestrials at that! Do you have a link? Is this one of those really big things that's being covered up completely, with thousands of people all sworn to secrecy -- like the faked moon landings?

I agree with you, there's a high probability that some sort of life exists out there in the universe, away from Earth. Most likely, it's going to be something like these hardy little buggers. I haven't read any reports on their spaceship-building skills or nuclear weapon launch site-disabling capabilities, though.

Personally, I don't find a couple of escaped helium party balloons massively technologically superior to fighter jets, but I don't know all that much about aeronautics and astronomy.

Ah, but all that fancy "aeronautics" and so called "science" are no match for what you call "primitive" technology.

Don’t be silly... of course they’re not doughnuts! They look more like those cat treats someone’s throwing in the air
