Hello all
With all this hassle around homeoffice-teleworking i have to search for renting a room from where to work remotely because at home i simply cant, i get easily disturbed by the other occupants of the apartment.
Does anyone knows a website or similar where i can search for such a thing? When i google for Arbeitszimmer or zimmer home office i get results leading me to nowhere.
Thank you

Some "Hobbyraum" have windows and bathroom, try searching for that on sites like immoscout24.
Otherwise look for coworking spaces (e.g. search coworking + your city in google), I think many have popped up and can certainly find some offers even in my small city.
It could be less expensive to get an apartment on your own.

Your location reads "Location, Location, Location" which isn't particularly useful with these sorts of questions.

Thank you | | | | | An alternative to an Arbeitszimmer might be a Gemeinschaftsbüro. You get to share an office building with other people also doing their own thing. You probably have an office room all to yourself , but you get some social interaction when arguing about whose job it is to load the dishwasher.

OP - I'd call a couple of visibly business companies around and ask for renting an office, since co-working cafes or places seems to be a social place, usually, here. So - busy. At this time of Covid measures though, spacing people in companies is a priority so things might be tough, space wise. Maybe if you can wait a little bit, or posting an ad in a public space? (Migros boards)

There's possibly a difference between busy - the hum of people working in an office and the kind of interruptions you could possibly get at home - from children, from flat-mates wanting a bit of banter, or playing music too loud, for example and so on.

The floor below them was a small startup who were trying to cultivate a Google-like let's do it attitude. You would frequently hear loud and chldish cries from downstairs, and once a guy was shouting "it works, it works" for several minutes at the top of his voice, with other joining in here and there. I think they would also end meetings by stamping on the floor or jumping up and down while shouting what I guess one might positively call "empowering slogans". Once they also came out with painted faces.
Just for the record, I don't think they ever managed to become a second Google.

No point in searching for 'home working' or 'home office' because you're looking for the precise opposite -- NOT to work from home.
1) Take a look at Homegate, which most people associate with apartment rentals but they also deal with office space. Note that you may need to have a calculator to hand because cost is often expressed as CHF per square metre per year. Other listings are more user friendly and will say simply '600 CHF a month' or whatever. There are plenty of other buro rental websites.
2) Maybe you just want space in a shared office? In this case it's coworking pace you're after. Most big towns will have these facilities. As someone said, Google 'coworking' or similar and you'll see.
Much depends on budget, length of time you want to rent for, and conditions you're looking for e.g. flexibility of opening hours if it's a shared office. Some coworking spaces have strict 0800-1800 Mon-Fri hours. For others, you have a key and 24-hour access. Most coworking spaces allow you to rent a particular desk or even small office within the space though you'll pay more for this.
In these Covid times you may not want to work in a shared office of course. So it all depends on your requirements and preferences.

Thank you | | | | | Google "Einzelbüro" in your area and see what comes up. It won't be cheap I think, I've been looking for something like this myself and was taken aback by the prices in our area.

In case you are forced to work from home for a certain percentage, did you check this with your employer? As it would essentially be the employer's problem.

Don't take my word for this but I believe you can offset costs for office space from your taxable income. This may make the option slightly more affordable than maybe you think.
