We had a big shop in Waldshut on Friday, crazy as expected!!!
My OH was talking to her dad tonight, apparently we're ok still to go to Germany for up to 24hrs without the need for a covid test, this is only in Baden Württemberg though, Bayern requires a covid test on entry. Really not sure how they're enforcing this but it seems cross border shopping trips to Konstanz, Waldshut etc or anywhere in Baden Württemberg should be without restrictions |

How inconsequential . So I can go in for a max. of 24 hours, leave all my money there and they think in spite of being positive it won't harm the German population? But hour 25 et sequens will be the dangerous ones? Hmmm ....
Anyway, it will be darn complicated even after November 8th. Do I risk they change the rules within the 30 minutes I pick up my amazon deliveries? | The following 2 users would like to thank curley for this useful post: | |

We're talking driver's license here, not car papers. Those contain the address .... but the ZH on the number plates will make looking at those redundant at the German border at the moment.

I found the official press release (in English) from Baden-Wuerttemberg.
and the linked article. Exceptions from mandatory quarantine are provided in particular for
• Entries into Baden-Württemberg from border areas for less than 24
hours (specifically in Austria the state of Vorarlberg, in the
principality of Liechtenstein the entire national territory, in
Switzerland the cantons of Appenzell, Aargau, Basel, BaselLandschaft, Jura, Schaffhausen, Solothurn, Sankt Gallen, Thurgau
and Zurich, in France the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haute-Rhin)
My concern: is a ZH resident allowed to enter Baden-Wuerttemberg only from
the closest border to the Zurich Canton (e.g. Schaffausen, Lottstetten)
or also through another Swiss canton as Thurgau (e.g. Konstanz)?
