If I want something sent from the UK, so international delivery UK to CH

What company, if you know, allows the recipient or sender to select a day for delivering a package

on a separate note I had a package sent from family to the UK and there is no sign of it, was not tracked

does anybody have a suggestion of where I should start to hunt for it?

You could create an account with post.ch. I get a notification every time I am about to receive something and online you can manage delivery days, how the package is to be delivered, etc. It's pretty cool what the good ol' postal service here has to offer.

But is there a UK or global courier company that uses SwissPost as a partner

Royal mail.

Swisspost is partnering with TNT/Fedex

Thats the one that was used but the guy turned up in TNT uniform and we could not pick days, I even chatted to their team

Check with DHL or UPS what they can offer.

Check DPD or Eurosender.

Just be aware that even if you do pick a day, it may not work like that.


I just had an item delivered from Germany by DHL. Because of the size, they were supposed to contact me to agree delivery beforehand.


1st email on Tuesday morning from DHL Basel: "We tried to deliver but you were not in. Please contact us to arrange redelivery."


(B@@locks did they try to contact me.)


Email conversation: "I can go home now and be in all afternoon. Or suggest a time on Thursday".


Agreed slot: "Thursday between 8am to 12 noon".


When did it arrive? 8.30am Wednesday... just as I was going out the door to work for all day meetings.


Delivery guy was from some local firm, subcontracting to DHL. So even if the Company's fab redelivery system says this time/that date... doesn't mean that gets through to the final mile man.
