Re: WTF, there are Golden Eagles in Switzerland?

If you want to see some golden eagles and potentially bearded vultures (we saw one last time! ), I highly recommend Val Trupchun in the Swiss National Park: https://www.nationalpark.ch/en/visit...outes/?trail=2
Apparently there's a breeding pair of golden eagles that lives here (saw them both!), according to a park ranger. Also lots of opportunities to spot deer, steinbock, gämse, and the fattest marmots you'll see in your life.

Ahhh very nice tip, thanks I appreciate it! I need to buy me a long camera lens and a nice compact pocket pair of binoculars.

The marmots are lean and easily scared in spring but roly-poly and slow in autumn, getting ready to hibernate. Much more predictable creatures than birds. I‘ve never seen any fatter ones than in Val Trupchun either.

This thread's title is quite amusing.

I'll say - yes there are. And exactly 107 wolves.
