Teenage Mutant Ninja Covid19's

Just trying to keep track of the various mutations of the Covid-19 virus.

So far we have:
The UK variant also known as the Kent variant.
The South African variant.
The Brazilian variant.
Finally the Danish Mink variant.

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Covid19's

You're supposed to call it the UK-identified variant as it wasn't the UK's fault but they're the only ones brilliant enough to have identified it.

Continuing on with the sarcasm we could group all these variants together and call them the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Covid19 Variants.

this is actually pretty cool.

And interestingly shows that the famous British variant is not so dominant outside the UK somehow Or perhaps the latest data points are not completed yet, who knows.

They warn that the numbers should be interpreted with caution, the last data point is often incomplete and may change as more sequences become available. Let’s see how the British variant keeps spreading in the next weeks.

They also warn that in many countries samples cover only a certain area, so the shown frequencies may not be representative for the whole country.
