Travel restrictions to Switzerland

Have rules for 3rd countries significantly changed without me noticing?

So it used to be that for most non-EU countries one could not come to CH if not a citizen, has a residence-permit, and a couple of more limited categories. But according to this https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/en/home...reisende.html#

I understand that now for most 3rd countries it is possible to come to CH with -ve PCR test + electronic form.

Am I missing something? So people from countries that are not on the list

https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/en/home...nde/liste.html

can come to CH actually?

p.s. Maybe we need a new sub-section of the forum for Covid-19

Re: Travel restrictions to Switzerland

No it’s still the same. See here https://www.bag.admin.ch/dam/bag/en/...witzerland.pdf

Basically you have to be Swiss or EU (freedom of movement) to enter.

Actually it is the same link (pdf version) of what I had posted, but somehow failed to read properly the first time. Still there are tons of links and difficult to understand completely. I guess will call the swiss consulate to inquire futher.

Re: Travel restrictions to Switzerland

When you arrive by plane, you need a negative PCR Test, to board the plane into switzerland.
You need to register under https://swissplf.admin.ch
no matter what mode of transportation you choose when you cross the border.

There is a loophole, when you choose a regional train, like the train from konstanz to kreuzlingen, you don't need to register

And if you click the link on the pdf https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home.html

“Foreign nationals without rights of free movement who wish to enter Switzerland from high-risk countries or regions but do not fall within any of the categories of exceptions under the COVID-19 Ordinance 3 are still subject to entry restrictions.”
