returning to Switzerland from USA (Covid stuff)

I'll be returning from the USA to Switzerland soon.

on the Bag website it say's this:

Customs in the airportís transit zone check the negative test result on a random basis. For this control, a result brought from the following test is permissible:

my question is:
* has anyone returned to switzerland and been randomly checked?
or - does anyone know if Random is just another word for EVERYONE.

Just wondering

Canít answer that, but they probably wonít let you board the plane in the US without the required test.

I had no passport or COVID verification upon arrival in Switzerland recently, rather checked in Amsterdam where I had transited through from US

Exactly this - you'll be checked usually for Covid test result, proof of residency and your Swiss entry QR code (at least based on the usual exit UK checks).

Swiss for example do not automatically issue a boarding pass online from UK > Swiss travel and all your docs are checked at the check-in desk, whereas for Swiss > UK travel they do issue it automatically and all your documents/tests are checked at the departure gate before boarding (no test = you can't board) and then again at the UK side.

Why even bother with this? Just get a damn test like you are supposed to.

I returned a few weeks back from the USA. Two people were denied boarding due to not having a proper test.
