Emoji advice

The pregnant man emoji is planned to be included in the unicode 14.0 standard, as described here: https://emojipedia.org/pregnant-man/

Am I the only one that feels slightly offended as the pregnant man looks like a middle-aged dad that likes to watch football on tv?
To be fair, the pregnant man has more hair than most of them.

I can see this being used for the times you've over indulged on the fondue.

You'll get in trouble for trying to define what a pregnant man should look like..

How do we even know 'they' choose to be identified as a man. Dangerous territory..

A beer belly on the other hand is a status symbol of course, it shows that we eat and drink well.

Re: Emoji advice

Kind of weird - if you're going to have a pregnant man emoji, at least forget the facial hair. I relatively certain that the level of testosterone required for that and pregnancy aren't compatible, or at least inadvisable.

But without the moustache how would you know it's a man?

Science vs pop culture - I wonder which will win

Continuing efforts to eliminate women from society - under the banner of transactivism.

Re: Emoji advice

It reminds me of the poster we had for family planning and contraception in Britain back in the early 70s. It said "would you be more careful if it was you that got pregnant". One of Saatchi and Saatchi's famous marketing campaigns along with the dole queue at the end of the 70s and "Britain isn't working".

Who needs the emoji? You'll find them sometimes in the ladies changing room - my daughter was not happy that the person showed no discretion or courtesy to others at all. (It was someone who identifies as a woman - not a pervert).

Re: Emoji advice

Emoji is reinforcing a fiction. A pregnant woman can never be man, she can identify as one but is not one.

A woman who identifies as a man who gets pregnant must have the female biology to become pregnant and carry child. Sadly, most have had their breasts cut off so baby cannot be breastfed. But nothing has changed as to how life creation has been for ever.

https://www.theguardian.com/society/...-childs-father

In the appeal court, Lord Burnett came down in favour of the right of a child born to a transgender parent to know the biological reality of its birth, rather than the parent’s right to be recognised on the birth certificate in their legal gender.
