Living in Rheinfelden/working in Basel

Hello.
I was wondering if any of you has tried living in Rheinfelden and working in Basel.
I have a daughter almost one year old that I plan to send to childcare in Rheinfelden and I start work very early in Basel. Is it still possible to do so while commuting?

Yes, depending on your definition of "very early". I live in Frick (further out on the same trainline) and have a one year old I send to kita in Frick. The kita open at 6:30 AM. I could certainly be in the office by 7.40 or so. From Rheinfelden you could get there quite a lot earlier still.

Thank you. Yes that would be easy for Basel. However kittas near me (3 of them)open at 7:30. Is it quite common to find kites opening at 6:30am?
and I should be at work around 7:30am.

You probably mean Rheinfelden, Switzerland and not the neighbouring Rheinfelden, Germany . Yes, it's possible and depending on your home and work locations I would recommend to use public transport (15-20minutes by train) in order to avoid the heavy return traffic in the evening.
