What to do with a Ricardo Non-Payer

I have couple of bidders who won the items and both have yet to pay (both items are below 10 CHF) and itís been over two weeks. Iíve e-mailed them twice and wanted to contacted them over the phone but their phone seems to be blocked.

I believe Ricardo suggests waiting for between 7 to 60 days before cancelling, but wanted to know what people generally do (Ricardo etiquettes) in these situations?

Re: What to do with a Ricardo Non-Payer

Good question, for the first time I have exactly the same thing!

The Ricardo page is here: https://help.ricardo.ch/hc/de/articl...nicht-bezahlt-

They say you can cancel within 7 to 60 days to get a refund from them of the listing fees, it isn't a suggestion on how to handle the buyer. They then give the buyer a negative rating.

I've emailed and texted. Will text again on Saturday in case they're on holiday, and try calling on Monday.

If I don't get a response within 14 days I will cancel the sale and relist them.

Re: What to do with a Ricardo Non-Payer

Have had a Ricardo buyer who was away on holiday for 14 days and came back so definitely worth waiting a little longer especially at this time of year - they had not realised they had won and very apologetically paid the same day. Also had someone who didn't respond at all, cancelling the sale via Ricardo was very simple.

Hope that helps and good luck!

You could try to make it a condition of sale to have payment or at least contact within a certain number of days and then just re-list.
