Ah, didn't know cantines are part of the certificate thing. Cantines that are open to the public, this must mean then.
Correct.

Could we see people lying and claiming they are unvaccinated when they are infact vaccinated.

Offering perks to unvaccinated, like WFH and free tests is dangerous territory
Is working from home a perk? Seems a sensible alternative to sacking/ forcing staff to leave.

I would think this would be offered to all and to add, I think Covid will change the ethos of many companies re. remote working.

Did you add “free tests” and “dangerous” for any particular reason.

Well I think it's fair to say that you shouldn't expect additional benefits for not getting vaccinated.

It's (imho) in the public interest to get vaccinated, so providing disincentives to get vaccinated is bad for public health.

Personally I don't think *restrictions* on the unvaccinated are justified epidemiologically, but benefits even less so.

Companies know they cannot easily replace some of their staff.

So they are playing along with the letter of the law while keeping people they need onboard.

If that's a perk, then so be it.

Re: Vaccination required for office entry?

It's not a perk in broad terms - sprightly new, small IT companies have been doing work-from-anywhere well for donkey's years

However, a large majority of companies in Switzerland are dinosaurs, trudging along at snail's pace, and still equate someone sitting visibly at a desk "under control" as something positive They're decades behind, regardless of how many times they pretend otherwise in the advertisements and on stages

Beware any philistine company that latches on to any business word the consulting companies tell them is cool (current favourites hacking and data)

I still don’t see why it is a perk / additional benefit?

I also doubt that a person would decide to not take the vaccine just to work from home.

Home Office also benefit for people unable to take the vaccine (on health grounds) , and preferring not to be exposed to covid by commuting.

All things considered it seems a simple solution.

WFH is not a perk but a necessity and I think the proposal is great.

A commercial enterprise has only one goal, make money for the owner/board. If unvaxxed WFH staff is as effective as vaxxed office staff, why would they care?

Oh dear…… people do not vaccinate now because they are obedient. Calling people who are obedient cowards? Wow, just wow.

You never obey anything? Traffic rules? Wearing a seat belt?

Re: Vaccination required for office entry?

Today is my first day in the office after the new regulations and the canteen was open as normal. I'm not sure if it officially a canteen for inside people only but there is a separate entrance from outside and anybody can walk in (they just pay a higher price if they don't have a company badge). I'm not sure how well that is know though or how many people do it.
