She has cancer & is currently having chemotherapy & consequently things like being too hot or too cold are probably side effects. Having plenty of hugs, it's only our 5th year of marriage
Sorry to hear that, I hope she's doing OK. When I had chemo it was from November through to June of the following year and my heating was on 24/7 as I was constantly freezing. I used to wear either a pink or lemon fleecy hat in bed and my OH used to joke I was like a little fondant fancy Our late cat Susie used to help by sitting on my bald pate! Still, that was 15 years ago and I'm still here so the pain and suffering was worth it

So sorry. My wife and I just reached 31 years. I hope you two do as well, and more.

Re: How many people have the heating on?

I was sitting outside in shorts and t-shirt yesterday evening, under a nice outdoor umbrella until about 7, then we went down to the basement to continue our chat and drinks.

No heating.

Re: How many people have the heating on?

Sorry to hear about the cancer.

I personally don't mind, it may have been below 15 this morning, but I keep windows open in my study and bedroom (I live next a forest, so hear the birds chirping in the morning), and if things fall below 10, I close the windows, and if below 5, I may turn on a heating.

I try my best to be conservative with the heating, it's easier to put on an extra layer than to pay for the additional energy use, so I really try hard to use as little of it as necessary, even in winter.

Good luck. Must be tough. Congrats on the anniversary, wish you both another 50 healthy years together

Re: How many people have the heating on?

Heat isn't on, but I've pulled the socks and jumpers back out of the closet. I can guarantee the rest of the summer will remain cooler than average, as the husband purchased an air conditioner in late June.
