Your freedoms aren’t limited. You are free to make a choice, get vaccinated and have a social life, or don’t get vaccinated at stay the f@&k at home. Feel free to make your preferred choice.
Applause. This is the perfect answer, isn't it? No one is being taken to a camp or center and held down to be vaccinated.
Kind of like drinking. I had a drink so I can't drive my car. If I don't have that drink, I can go drive if I'd like. Nobody forced my choice. The vaccine regulations are not about me, they are about keeping others safe... same thing with drink driving laws.
If you want to have a few drinks and drive, get a big farm out in the country, and stay on your own property, and likely no problems... and same thing if you don't want to get vaccinated.
It's not about "you," it's about everybody else. Why is this so hard to understand?

Isn't it strange that the cheerleaders of the government all know several people who have died or been in ICU. One facebook friend claims six close relatives have died.

So if you don't want to die, better not have too many cheerleader friends.
I knew over twenty people who died due to COVID. This is not cheerleading, this is reality. Just under fifteen of them were in the New York area when it got hit very hard and very quickly in March/April 2020, before they introduced masking, before the hospitals were prepared, before the vaccine. I very quickly went from "masks are stupid" thinking that they won't keep me safe to "I wear a mask when in public, especially indoors," because it keeps others safe. Maybe some of those folks would have died because of their age or other conditions... but they wouldn't have died alone on ventilators and we wouldn't have had to attend funerals via zoom.

These vaccines are only indirectly keeping others safe though aren't they?
Us vaccinated people can still get the virus and we can still pass it on.

We are directly helping ourselves to not get as sick as might have .. And indirectly helping others by possibly not taking up a hospital place.

Us vaccinated people are potentially even more dangerous in terms of being spreaders since we might not even get symptoms, we might not get tested as much and we might spread it around any more.

But hey, maybe the answer is to send the unvaccinated people off to remote camps .. Or have them wear some sort of symbol on their sleeve?

Re: Last Day Before Your Freedoms are Limited

My daughter is a "buddy" of one of the 70 exchange students who arrived in Switzerland from all over the world. A number of them have not had the approved vaccines (although the list for exemption from test/quarantine on arrival in Switzerland has, e.g. AZ vaccine). Some of them don't have certificates, as their countries don't offer them.

The organisers are assisting where possible.

A side-effect of sudden changes in the law.

That's called coercion, so yes, my freedoms are being limited. Your strong language indicates a precursor to medical tyranny.

When the long term clinical trials finish in 2023, I will reconsider the jab, given the availability of extensive data on safety. If safe, I take, if not, I don't. And not a minute before.

Interestingly, it's the vaccinated who will likely need to "stay home" this winter, mostly for their own safety. Look into Antibody Dependent Enhancement, it can be quite serious.

Seatbelts are proven to save lives...you either wear one or you don't drive/get fined. They have been accepted universally without great issue back in the 60s-70s.

I wonder what would happen if they were introduced today....

Re: Last Day Before Your Freedoms are Limited

How can you pedal snake oils such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, (both proven to do more harm than good), yet be sceptical about targeted, well-researched and developed vaccines?

With this position you can't be taken seriously.

Seat belts are made from ancient Egyptian mummy tape and then painted black to hide the truth. No one in their right mind would use such a cursed tape

Some people have friends, others ignore reality by living in a pretend world.
Luckily I have no close friends or relatives who didn't survive covid. However, I did hear of quite a few folks who weren't that lucky, among friends of friends, colleagues or relatives of friends or colleagues in my circle.
There are so many things we still don't know about this virus. Because I have a relative with a serious autoimmune disease who survived covid, not without long term effects though..but still. I'm grateful for all of them being (relatively) OK. I didn't take it for granted.

Very busy this morning in the vaccination center here. Seems like a good amount of spontaneuous decisions.

Not really, according to most data. For the most part, many of the vaccinated are more effective at not spreading the virus. We chose Pfizer over J&J because of the decreased possibility of spreading the virus. Is it zero percent? No. But is it safer than being unvaccinated? Yes, very much so.

I don’t have any friends who died but there is a friend of a friend in Texas who I met briefly once or twice . Although the family said he was perefectly healthy this guy was very obese and was so out of breath after walking a flight of steps that he had to sit down . He was in his early 60ies.

I do have a friend in Berlin who had to be hospitalized with thrombosis after taking the vaccine and who later made a YouTube video about her experience which was deleted. She later reposted and got about 30,000 views before she was banned from YouTube . All she did in the video was describe how it had been , no conspiracy stuff . She later spoke about this at a meeting after which she received threatening phone calls from a guy who said he would do nasty things to her daughter . The police refused to look into it .

I also know a guy in Sweden who says his brother died after the vaccination but I never knew the brother .

Ah, the old "slippery slope" logical fallacy. The current restrictions are not in themselves a problem, but they could lead to gas chambers. Well done!

Yes, this. And here are some further examples of people I understand to be in in CliiniMuus's Category One.
Thanks for that, but the numbers involved aren't that high (and trapped prostitutes aren't exactly free to go to the theatre anyway, for example). The solution isn't to allow unvaccinated into bars, theatres etc. Rather to get them out of that category. Which I understand CliiniMuus does (at least, it's implied), and that's a good thing.
