SLR (Switzerland Live Report)

Report 1- One of the local restaurant has a lady stationed at the entrance, she is checking Covid certificates. Lady looks very motivated. Everyone is without mask enjoying the food, Covid is in pause mode currently at the restaurant

Report 2-
Young adults and old people not wearing mask on the bus. One particular old lady was told off by another lady last week, but she does not care and is still not wearing any mask. She is the spitting image of older Margaret Thatcher!

Back to EF. Oh, I think I just farted.
Spitting image or Spitting Image?

You mean that the imbecile in the beekeper suit is an example of an "intelligent man" ? Perhaps you are suggesting that grandstanding at a public hearing (or trolling) is an intelligent way of expressing a well thought-out point when it comes to public policy? What gave it away, was it counting decimal points with his fingers?

She must look ancient. How come she is still alive in covid times?
No idea. She was walking very confident and arrogant when she got off the bus.

No no, I was just walking past after buying my bag of nuts to eat under the tree while keeping an eye on my goats.

Why not, also let the obese and smokers die while we're at it!
I am not a smoker but here is an interesting study saying currently active smokers have less chances of getting infected with Covid19.

The data presented is overwhelmingly TLDR, but my simple brain is funnily imagining the chances of the virus slipping past fire and filter into a smoker's lung and in case it does, will surely bat out of there at the first sneeze

I’ve seen also some research that people with seasonal allergy / hay fever suffer much less from Covid.

According to this study while current smokers appear to be at reduced risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, former smokers appear to be at increased risk of hospitalisation, greater disease severity and mortality from COVID-19.

Maybe active smokers just spend more times outside taking a smoke break and socializing. Less exposure to harmful aerosoles indoors could outweigh the harm caused by smoking itself.

The we should be able to drop the mask and vaccine mandates and tell employees to go for a short break outside every hour or so.

The study said "current smokers appear to be at reduced risk", not at "no risk". But, hey, I'm all for more breaks outside for everybody.

Not really news unless you reject reality, but here goes:

Israeli Ministry of Health (right) recorded saying to the Minister of Interior (left) "there is no medical or epidemiological justification for the Covid passport, it is only intended to pressure the unvaccinated to vaccinate".

Well, Duh! If we had a 90% vaccinated rate we wouldn’t need any restrictions.

Please get jabbed! Thank you.

Exactly.

And once you'll be able to understand how this works then you will understand this vast subject and the covid-circus. Until then it's more like "I know something because the TV told me"
