I remember losing a BMW there once. I basically waited until everyone else had gone (I was there in the evening, so not such a long wait) and then it sat there all alone in the middle of a garage-floor.
Hope they didn't charge parking fees by the minute?

They are incrementally pushing up the vaxx rate at the cost of the government gambling away credibility as it shifts from one lie to the next.

Funny. Not that I ever go there anymore - not in years - but I was wondering about Glatt this afternoon. Do they want a covid passport? Abroad they use it in malls but in Switzerland I've not heard whether it's the same?
Only in Migros restaurant.

No I'm not saying that at all .

I am double vaccinated, and I think it is a complete no brainer to do so. I think the covid certificate and not reopening is "an appalling demonstration of cowardice and lack of common sense". I pointed to the extremely low death rates we are now seeing.

Certainly in Malta - who are really well protected. In the rest of western Europe for the most part too.
Never trust a statistics you haven't faked yourself.

It still takes multiple weeks from infection to people arriving at the ICU, probably more than a month to die (to simplify the description). Comparing today's test-positives to today's deaths will invariably give a false impression while case numbers are skyrocketing because that doesn't take into account the deaths that will arise from the most recent month's cases. Likewise mortality numbers, as well as others.

ETA:
The case numbers have been flat for some time now, but whether that's enough to balance this effect is an open question. And the lag between diagnose and hospitalisation/death still exists, so you'd need to control for that when comparing to the overall numbers.

This is what Covid science looks like

You really can't expect that poor working class hero (who's paid $180k for her political mandate alone) to pay for those lavish outfits (which are probably sponsored anyways) AND help her mother fix her home that was heavily damaged by some storm.

Sacrifices are unavoidable. Why can't you show a little empathy for hers?

isn't that what masks are for?

the vaxx is to prevent vaccinated people who are masked from transmitting the virus to other vaccinated people who are masked, a transmission that is entirely the fault of the unvaxxed who stay at home.

Maybe the people who believe this need tinfoil masks?

Agree that of course there is a lag between cases and hospitalized/fatalities.

Another vague made up claim from you though. “ Infection to ICU takes “multiple weeks” and “probably more than a month to die”

Could you at least try to seem credible and not use vague terms to back up a view?

Went to the Glatt Zentrum in Zürich today for the first time in two years, it was very quiet, with very few customers.
Bought some books, jeans, coffee, and cake - had a lovely day.
Funny, i was also in Glatt Zentrum today. Spent lots of time looking at books and jeans. Had a takeaway coffee - no cake for me though.

Empathy not really needed. She actually doesn‘t pay for the dress. In this case, the designer worked with AOC on the dress and paid for her ticket to the gala. In the end, the met Gala is a fashion showcase with political/cultural undertones.

You should hammer home with the covid ICU patients that you need for them die on a certain date after infection because you can't handle any kind of date ranges. Of course nothing keeps you from taking that "hammer home" literally if they refuse to comply.

You'll probably need to get vaccinated to be allowed into the hospitals though. Tough luck mate.

Another “probably”. Brilliant.

Less tougher luck for you , as the large numbers of doctors and nurses refusing the vaccine are allowed in the hospitals.

ICU is going to miss that hammer when someone has literally taken it home.
