I ( falsely) assumed most would see it that way. Deplorable attitude imo but that seems to pretty standard on this site now.

I don't agree with those parallels (makes me feel sick), but can't and won't stop anyone from thinking/expressing that way. As long as it's within legal boundaries, I have to simply look over it...

Whatever else it is, it is trivialising the Holocaust and that's a pretty wicked thing to do.

I wasn't coerced. Your contention was that if you have had the vaccine you've been coerced. Wrong! Proof by contradiction.
Your contention was not that you aren't being coerced. To an extent you are. You're being forced into the position of getting vaccinated, getting regular testing, or abide by restrictions. I think it is reasonable and proportionate. Going to a bar, restaurant, gym etc. is not exactly a human right.
I'd guess most (not all) people who've been vaxxed think the measures are ok, and most who (not all) haven't, think otherwise. Clearly the hardcore refusers will never think otherwise.
Either way - it ain't the Holocaust, and that's a disgraceful comparison for that poster to make.

What were the first rights the Jews had taken away from them?
I'll answer:
Does the items on that list ring a bell?
The holcaust (or any genocide in history) did not start with death camps. There's a road towards it.
It seems no-one knows their history.

Those who choose not to get vaccinated should (i) be allowed to die if they fall sick from covid, and (ii) a bill for their stay in any hospital should be sent to their estate, and fully deducted from any assets in their estate, until 100% of the bill has been recovered or the assets fully depleted.
If the rest of us have endless restrictions imposed on us because hospitalization rates go up (mainly from unvaccinated types) I will personally help covid achieve point (i) above!

| | Re: Last Day Before Your Freedoms are Limited | Quote: | | | | | Unfortunately there are many ignorant people around i.e those that neither bother to inform themselves of the current situation, nor are willing to take measures to tackle it.
I believe thatI am not alone in thinking, that these people should be exiled to a field, living in tents, and living off their own produce. | | | | | You might not be alone but nonetheless quite insalubrious | Quote: | | | | | No surprises here.
Your queen was castrating males just 60 years ago for being openly gay, and I bet the likes of you were saying exactly the same words back then | | | | | Don’t know much about the queen’s proclivity to castrate gays until 69 years ago - didn't she have better stuff to do?. But would like to remind those of you unaware of a time honoured custom in India of reprieving the poor tethered goat (no tents for them, I’ll let you know) before nightfall on a tiger hunt. While this tradition might spark mild criticism in terms of gender equality, it is nonetheless remarkable that in most cases the substitute was the most annoying villager of Swiss/UK citizenship w/o any knowledge of languages except English. Protestations to the contrary were usually drowned out by pitiful screams and hungry snarls in the dark.
The Raj at it’s best imposed peaceful village life!

Further the same should apply for other actions regarded as potentially detrimental to ones health (smoking, being obese, lack of working out, drug use, alacohol use, doing dangerous sports, driving a car, varying sexual contacts, not sleeping 8 hours a day etc etc).
At that point I'd simply drop the health insurance and be done with it
