Which colour should I paint my Hallway ?

Im thinking of blue, but i could paint it green, or even white.

Is there any recommendations for wall colours in Switzerland ?

All three.

Especially if you come from Sierra Leone.

White. That’s the only acceptable colour in Switzerland.

According to my arts teacher in school, neither black or white are colours. A black hallway is intriguingly cool though.

Re: Which colour should I paint my Hallway ?

You can go to OBI and get paint cards / color samples to help you decide. I usually grab a few of the same color, for each, and then tape them together to get a bigger color sample and better idea of what the color will look like. Also, colors can look so different depending on the light as well as what other colors they are near. If there is a focal wall at the end of the hallways, you could also just paint that focal wall. I put some grasscloth wallpaper at the end of our hallway, which I thought made it feel "warmer" and less cold / white.

But keep in mind that anything darker than white is probably going to make the hallway feel more narrow. But I have found that a very pale blue or very pale blue-green can actually open a space up and create the illusion that it's bigger. I did that in my small bathroom and was surprised at how much bigger it felt afterward. I painted my dining room a pale aqua a couple years ago, and while I wish I had gone with a slightly different shade, for the most part, I'm happy with the results. I was just tired of the grayish white walls that came with the place.

I hope you can find a color you're happy with!

Maybe I am stating the obvious but still: if you rent the appartment and the wall was white when you moved in it needs to be white when you move out. What you do in between is up to you

I think you should go for some Swiss art instead of a color, maybe an H. R. Giger theme?

and if cost is an issue, I can recommend this
https://www.landi.ch/shop/dispersion...010-10-l_54388
better than much more expensive paint I've used in the past, including the ones advertised by fluffy dogs.

There's also this
https://www.landi.ch/shop/dispersion...eiss-5-l_77894
but I'm not sure what the difference is.

Farrow & Ball have a wonderful range.

Even the paint names are brilliant.
