Disposing of monitor holder

Hi all, I've wondering how I can get rid of a monitor holder like this one: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product...erung-12874435.

It's a mix of plastic and metal. I guess it doesn't belong with the regular garbage and on the other hand I don't think I can go to a 'Recyclinghof' with just that single item to dispose of...

Depends where you live, but in my community, I can just put a rubbish sticker - it says how many kilos one sticker covers - and then leave it by the kerb.

Re: Disposing of monitor holder

Your location says "Zurich" so I would say you can take it to the Cargo tram:

I assume the holder is broken, otherwise you should probably try to give it away

Re: Disposing of monitor holder

if it is working, sell it/donate it.

if broken, i'd take it to recycling as metal.

My Recyclinghof wouldn't care if you just showed up with one item but I'm not sure if I would trust them to not just dispose of it in the general garbage.

Re: Disposing of monitor holder

Indeed the holder is broken and yes, I forgot to mention I'm in Zurich (city)...

The Cargo-Tram seems to be the best option given that I have a single object - I'll go for that.

Thank you for your replies
