Furniture shop recommendations

I am going to look at furniture shops on Saturday and was wondering where to go, and I have a few in mind. I want to go to nice places. As much as I like Ikea, I won't be going there.

For example, I am going to MYCS Showroom near Stadelhofen. I will also go to for example Schubinger in Wallisellen.

I would like to see as many as possible over the day so I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations of other nice furniture shops.

Thanks!

I you like direction modern / design - general tending towards Danish / Scandinavian design -but still affordable - I use Einzigart on the Josef Strasse quite a bit for smaller as well as larger items (like sofas):

Also Holm has a pretty nice showroom - same general Scandinavian design direction but generally a bit more expensive.

I live in front of one pfister. Drove to office this morning and saw the gigantic ad on the building facade.

I saw a year ago some interesting furniture and still available. I'm pondering if 30% is good enough discount or wait a bit more for February discounts.

Re: Furniture shop recommendations

I like SEIPP in Germany. Their service is great and they manage all the tax stuff, delivery and assembly.

When they have promotions I have also used Hugo Peters, Theo Jakob and Bruno Wickart.

This is all quite expensive stuff, but will last a lifetime and hold it's value

What happens in February? I wondered if that's a post-Christmas thing but seems a bit late.

Ricardo and Tutti!

Some incredible bargains out there. Large furniture often gets essentially given away as long as you can pick it up, just to save on hassle of disposal.

There are some discounts called rotstift wochen (red pencil week) up to 50-60%. I don't remember exactly if it's January or February, but surely after New Year.

What he said. The OP lives in Baden... the German border is probably even closer than Zurich. Seipp has the cool stuff... Wohnparc Dick nearby all the standards up to high quality but less design than SEIPP. https://wohnparc.de/in/lauchringen/

There are lots of threads on furniture already, just do a forum search for "furniture" and you will get loads of recommendations.
