Nothing is being banned.

They’re just trying to make a potentially dangerous activity safer for everyone.
There are limits for drinking and driving so why shouldn’t there be limits for drinking and hunting?
Cars and guns can both be lethal weapons in the wrong hands.

Only that one is intended as a lethal weapon. Can't use it for much else aside from banging nails into wood.

A lot of people want it banned for other reasons - no one is asking for it to be banned because of drunk hunters.

Can't you see that if drunk-driving is banned because an out-of-control car is a potentially lethal weapon then it makes sense to limit the use of an actual lethal weapon when drunk?
