Oh yes, and it was about 3,000m downhill and then back up again. At 120Kph, with Edguy at full blast; [screams]Lavatory love machine[/screams].

You wouldn't want to walk it.
Edguy *shudder* You sure the car didn't implode instead?

You have a better band that sings about having sex in the toilet on a transatlantic flight out of fear of dying?

Re: What do you really miss the most?

It's my BMW that did the really short journeys every morning. My wife's Merc cruised around the shops long enough to really get that platinum stuff hot.

Seriously, the BMW is a great machine. tough as nails, soft as that part of a girl's inner thigh that just below... well, you know. I would never treat it so badly as to actually just drive only 5 minutes first thing in the morning. I would like to be buried in that car. It's miles from the coolest or fastest I have owned, but it loves me.

Re: What do you really miss the most?

Naughty moderater... leading forum members off topic!

I can't really comment on what I miss the most, simply because I grew up in both Switzerland and the UK (just don't ask!) When I'm here I miss hotcross buns, mince pies, fruit pastilles, BANTER. When I'm in the UK I actually miss alot of things from Zurich, like the public transport system which is so wonderfully on time, along with many foods that just don't taste as good in the UK and I also miss the beautiful mountains.

I miss Emporio café, where I was used to have a cup of double espresso with pretty heavy whipped cream, called "Café creme", every day. I miss the view over the river Vltava, I miss Roxy music club, the city larm...and last but not least I really miss my friends.

Re: What do you really miss the most?

TV in English, yes I-ve read all the links re satellite but flat faces the wrong direction so that doesn-t help.

Good food/supermarket, I-ll never complain about Tescos again! Migros and the COOP, help! Where is the Londoner that I have seen referenced earlier in this chain?

M&S goodies...mmmmmmm Sainsburys refrigerator cake and right now Walkers crisps prawn cocktail or cheese and onion!

Re: What do you really miss the most?

I just want one good selection of CHIPS here.
not this paprika or chinese oriental ****

I want good ole Ruffles. Sour Cream and Onion.
Doritos...oh man...Ketchup chips would make my day.

someone needs to get on the chip wagon here...b/c the selection is pretty much non-existant. Back home, we have whole aisles dedicated to just potato chips!

The London Shop is in Zug close to the Metali Shopping Centre on Baarestrasse. But don't get your hopes up, the last time I was there the choice was fairly limited.

Re: What do you really miss the most?

1. Going to Barnes and Noble at 10:00 pm to shop for books.
2. My SAAB
3. Driving in general, since I'm without a car (love the trains, tho)
4. Wendy's chocolate "Frostys" - pure junk and so good
5. Friends and familiy
6. My cat
7. My hairdresser
8. Pumpkin pie with whipped cream

Not necessarily in that order ...

Re: What do you really miss the most?

1) Restaurants where one can go at any hour of the day (especially wee hours) for some bacon, sausage, eggs and hash potatoes with a cup of Java...

2) The $1.50 early bird breakfast specials I used to have with my uncle back in Syracuse

3) Doing grocery shopping at Safeway in San Fran at 1am when there are no screaming children around

4) COSTCO

5) Pecan pie

6) Good masseurs (Swiss masseurs seem to only know how to handle the thin Swiss guys)

7) Great mexican food or should I say - real mexican food only a few minutes away from my house in SF

6)
