Re: Which is your favourite Season in CH

And as much as I say I don't mind snow it's a VERY long time since I've had to go to work in it. Visiting is quite a different thing altogether! Not really sure how I would cope with piles of it and certainly wouldn't fancy driving in it.

Stay warm.

Pam

Re: Which is your favourite Season in CH

Coming from Ireland (which I love, despite the rainy weather), the weather here seems so dry. Which is great. But I still cant choose between winter & summer. I love winter for snow & the opportunities that brings and I love summer cos its possible to get a tan (not that I try to, cancer-conscious and all that). Spring & Autumn are my least favourite cos that's when there's most rain.

i hate winter. Not only because of the cold but also because everything looks so black and white, all color seems to have gone
Could not agree with you anymore, bring on spring/summer and bbq's and beer, not to forget cycling in single layers of clothing and warm fingers!

You can get cremes for them Pam,just ask at your local chemist and if pain persists see your doctor.
Sorry couldn't help myself!

Talking of summer in Perth, Yokine, it was 39C on NY day and high 30s since with more of the same to come. Give me Swiss weather any day......looking forward to when I get over there.

A little snowflake now would be so welcome.

Pam from Yokine, Perth!
I only listen to 96fm online here at home and they have the Perth weather conditions on thier site. Reading 30+° and seeing snow outside here does sometimes make me wonder.... Still, wouldn't swap for quids!!

Oh dear, how embarrassing is that! I must have pressed the button too quickly or something. I meant 'cope with piles of SNOW' of course, driving in it and all that. Thankfully, no need to go to the chemist for the other!Where's the red smiley face....

Re: Which is your favourite Season in CH

OK, you can see I am still getting used to working on the EF pages....my post WAS all there! Typical Oz humour, warped! Me too - we'll get on just fine! Which brings me to ask, how do you get on with the Swiss sense of humour? I love my friends dearly but I know in general they can be a bit too serious. Do they cope with the nutty Oz humour?!

Re: Which is your favourite Season in CH

My ideal year would be:

4 months spring
8 months autumn

I need a place that stays more or less between 16-23.

haha.

I should say between 60-73. Probably more appropriate for your uncle!

Re: Which is your favourite Season in CH

Spring.. when the daffodils shoots start peeking through the ground and the lovely early crocuses and primroses appear everywhere. I'm out in the garden tomorrow with my 4 yr old son to plant some tulips bulbs in pots - he'll be mucky from head to toe by the time we finish
