Re: CoOp Online shopping

People with something positive to say about Swiss supermarkets?

Phew! Glad I'm sat down.

Re: CoOp Online shopping

Be very very careful to order from Coop online, they are not honest.
I had ordered few bottles of wine for my Dad's birthday. I paid with
Creditcard and gave all the delivery information.
When the driver delivered the Wine to my Dad, the Driver told him
that he had to pay for it. My Dad didn't know what was going on and did paid.
I am very dissapointed that a company like Coop tried to scamed an elderly man on his Birthday.
I will never order anything from Coop. I was never charged for the
Wine but this is extremely dissapointing.

It's unfortunate that your father had to pay for his birthday present - it's a lovely gesture that you tried to do this for him. But in the end, someone only paid once. It's possible that the payment didn't go through. I've ordered from them for the five years I've lived here, and I've not had a problem. My biggest complaint is that sometimes my card doesn't go through. Now, however, I just request a rechnung, and I get it via email the day after the delivery, have 20 days to pay. So much easier.

You really should complain to Coop about this and see what really happened. It's possible that the transaction didn't go through if you used a foreign credit card - your location is listed as Toronto.
