Weather Woes

Looking out of my window here on a snowy (yet again!) Sunday, I was thinking
just how long and cold this winter seems to be.
I remember seeing the first snow last year in October and now it's almost the end of February.......
So then I thought about the wild storm a couple of weeks ago, then on to thoughts of climate change........

Have a look at this and see just how bad things were in the past, before we had
media coverage to sensationalise and dramatise.
Particularly the "Little Ice Age" in the eighteenth century.

the "Little Ice Age"
The answer to La Petite Age de Glaciation is surely La Petite Mort, non?

Re: Weather Woes

It was the highlight of my weekend, so much so that today has been downhill all day resulting in such depression that I couldn't find the energy to reply.

Not likely, Cannut (although it might be worth it to escape the cervelat....)
You surely don't have cervelat in Canada? Maple-syrup flavoured, maybe??

I think we're well off-topic now, but no one wanted to talk about the weather....

I quickly scanned thru it and I found it quite interesting... More informative with its figures than "Ice Age" animation cartoons...

Don't worry raincookie, winter will be over soon and then the discussions with turn to the wet spring, short summer and hopefully we'll have an autumn. Climate change? Who knows anymore...
