I was flipping past on tv, and they happened to be showing a clip of the Iceland band. The singer wore a dress that would have been more appropriate on Little Bo Peep.

Well it wasn't as bad as last year with all that political voting... Im sure I actually heard booing from the crowd in disapproval this time, so things are looking up.
I don't think Europe have forgiven us for Iraq, I think they gave us the sympathy vote for having to get that crusty toad looking A.L. Weber out of his box to even stand any chance!
Gotta admit though, Russia put on one hell of a show!

According to a BBC article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20750103 they might not as they don't allow political songs in Eurovision. How a religious group performing rock music can be political is beyond me, but there you are. |

| | Re: Eurovision - anybody watching? | Quote: | | | | | Recently, they also got into some tissle tassle over some homophobic accusations when they fired a lesbian co-worker. | | | | | They have a long story of homophobic policy and control damage in the media every time they are caught red-handed. They use the exact same rhetorics as the Vatican: nothing against homosexual, just against the act. Same reasoning, same solution: celibacy.
I let famous words be the answer to that: | Quote: | | | | “The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision.” | | | | | | This user would like to thank Faltrad for this useful post: | |
