Re: The Swiss dating game

The explanation is quite simple. When it comes to love and emotion, bloke generally speak in basic sentences that mean a maximum of two things. This then gets processed by the woman, analyzed a thousand times from every angle, and ends up being filtered and translated into a warped and distorted sentence with a minimum of twelve possible meanings. Confusion then stems from this, especially when woman approaches man regarding said sentence and man has no fricken idea what she is talking about.

Re: The Swiss dating game

The only things that have made a whole lot of sense in this thread have been Richdog's comments... I think people are complicating the whole process too much, just set your pride and fear aside and go talk to people. Stop trying so hard.

Oh, on a side note... If you are in a bitter mood and want to vent on someone other than Ouchboy for being so young, I am 23. Have at it

Ahhh, Richdog is making sense.

Ok, bitters of the EF... is JasonR too young?

I prefer to abstain from this poll.

Heh, randomly speaking of which, i've recently realised that i'm fantastic at talking to women no matter how hot they are... as long as I don't fancy them. As soon as I do it's like my brain and motor functions seize up. It's weird... but despite knowing someone is interested, when it gets to the point where I should be asking for a number or steering the mood in 'that' direction I turn into a bumbling wreck and everything falls apart. And it's specifically only that part which I have trouble with, everything before and after is no problem. God knows how many times it's held me back from pulling a winner. However that's only when I really fancy someone (as in the butterflies effect) so I guess it's normal to some extent.

Too young for what? To participate in EF? or to give meaningful input on the dating process?

All I can do is draw conclusions from my personal experiences and my observations of the world around me.

But don't worry, I won't be upset or offended if you want to poke fun at my age, I'm kind of used to it. I am most certainly the youngest person in all of the project locations I have worked in over the last several years.

Also, I know that 75% of the stuff in this thread was said as a joke so please just take my previous comment as a light-hearted observation

Alcohol is the only thing I know of that combats it, the only problem then being that it introduces a whole new set of problems.

Re: The Swiss dating game

On a serious note, in my experience, I think, when a Girl fancies a Guy she would give him that "inviting" look a few times and the Guy should approach her within that short span of Time... after that she kinda gets disgruntled, disappointed or insecure .. and You've lost her..

You've got very high chances of success rate if you can make it look like "You saw her and you went crazy for her" or "When she looked at you, she got you" kind of scenario.

But provided shes available and looking... if Not then thats completely another Ball game.

I like how you capitalized "Tough Competition" like it's some sort of product that you are trying to sell us
