Yes, but definitely not based on alemanic. Most of it is middle-saxon or even pure saxon Kanzleisprache (that is east middle-German) with quite some francisque/fränkisch. One can find a little bit of bavarian if one looks carefully, and even less alemanic. SG beneh does not "come from" anything High German, that is right, but it does not mean that it is the other way around either. They both derives from former stage of language. They are cousins. I hope that my rewording of your thoughts helped to put things in the right box.
I was always thought Hight German was what Martin Luther translated the bible from.Where ever he came from

Not wrong as such, because the bible is the medium of diffusion of the new norm. The reformation killed the niederdeutsch print in Hamburg within two generations, for ex. But dear ol' Luther did not just invent a new language, he built up from what was already in use and took a couple of decisions. The language has changed since Luther too... it's not like one could read out loud a storry book from the 15th century to children nowadays, really not. We had the Faust folk story at university (not the Goethe one, the old one), that's deffinitely not easy to read even for language loving grammar obsessed students we were then.

Literally: "I'm exploding right now". The person in question is infuriated and can't keep back his/her anger any longer.

Edit: Correction, the phrase lets me guess that the sentiments of the person are negative. But in certain contexts it could also mean (for example) that the person is very excited about something (maybe a surprise or a secret) and he or she can not hold back any longer.

I don't understand what this says, but it looks funny. That's why I'm now writing in Swiss German, so you don't understand what this says either.

I understand in fact nothing that you say, but it is very funny to us, and so I write in Swiss German so that you will not understand what is said.

Re: Swiss German to English translations

Translating from swiss to american has always been the worst. I knew a few swiss boys I tried to keep an eye on. This site and swissgermantranslation.com have been good to me. :-)

Re: Swiss German to English translations

Your lucky day, there was no objective reasons for me to be here tonight, but here I am. Somebody else would have done it soon anyway.
Wait for the style corrections, I am far from being mother tongue speaker in English, very far.
