Santa sightings

<sigh>. Or <yippee>, depending.

65 days to Christmas and I've just spotted my first Santa Claus/Father Christmas of the season, in Jumbo at Allschwil (Basel). The Easter Bunny is bound to be close behind.

Any other sightings of St Nick?

Re: Santa sightings

Yikes, already!

Well, the tradition here is that Santa makes his rounds on 6th of December so it isn't soooooo early here I guess.

Even so, October sure does feel a bit early!

Re: Santa sightings

Vienna (where I happen to be this week) has really cute advent calendars in many of the shop windows, but no Santa yet. Guaranteed you go to a Walmart in America and Santa will be residing right there along side the Halloween costumes. Aaaaack!

Santa got tricked by the weather. He came out thinking its December already.

65 days to Christmas, but "only" 47 days to the day of Santa Claus, which here has the name "Samichlaus"

the Christkind below however only is around on 24th/25th December
