Well my thesis is about Bollywoodtourism in Switzerland and what meaning fans of Yash Raj Films give to the locations that they have visited in Switzerland. Especially people who went with the YRF "Enchanted Journey".
So you plan to ask Swiss residents if they visit places in Switzerland because they are fans of Bollywood movies?

Yess you got it right! I need 8 respondents who watch Bollywood movies and visited some locations.

Bollywood movies? - too risque by far. I watched one once and a girl almost got kissed!

You'd do better with Bond movies:

Re: Switzerland for Indian honeymooners

There was an interesting documentation called "Bollywood im Alpenrausch" about Indian Filmmakers in Switzerland. It's in German, maybe you can find a dubbed version somewhere:

Just one, Paheli. I liked it, don't think any of it was set in Switzerland though.

Re: Switzerland for Indian honeymooners

Two things about Switzerland and Bollywood:

1) Did you know that there is a Swiss love movie about Bollywood: Tandoori Love

2) You may get better/more replies when you ask your questions on www.bollywoodforum.ch

Good luck with your thesis.

Why do Indians have the tendency to say "in Swiss", instead of in "Switzerland".

It's like saying "in Indian I like Kerala the most".

I heard that so many times.

Just wondering....
Probably for the same reason that I hear many Europeans saying, "You speak Hindu, right?"

(That's a religion, not a language!)

see this link.
I never went to Switzerland so I really don't know the specific locations.
I'm going to make a list with all the locations and the pictures next week.

I have been to some of these places, but not because I was trying to follow YRF. Might be able to help a bit

Re: Switzerland for Indian honeymooners

Heey,

Do you guys/girlz have Indian friends or family that watch Indian/Bollywood movies and have visited locations in London or Switzerland?
Can you please ask them if they are willing to answer a few questions for my thesis? There name will not be mentioned in my thesis.

I have a shortage of respondents so I will really appreciate your help.

Thanks Radhika
