Favorite (odd) Christmas songs

What are some of your favorite odd or quirky Christmas songs?

Can't find the video, but I'll start of with The Waitresses:

Re: Favorite (odd) Christmas songs

Does not very well known count?

I was thinking, just last Sunday,
How the world remembers one day
Above the rest throughout the year,
And on that day
A Child appeared.

Little children remember
When you celebrate December
It's much more than Santa Claus.
But you're right about the gift and tree.
The gift of life at Calvary.

I was thinking, just last Sunday,
How the world remembers one day
Above the rest throughout the year,
And on that day
A Child appeared.

Re: Favorite (odd) Christmas songs

'Fairytale of New York' is pretty odd for an Xmas song. It is genius though, one of the best songs ever written IMHO.

Re: Favorite (odd) Christmas songs

My favorite "odd" one is Hippopotamus For Christmas (originally sung by Gayla Peevy in 1953, this is a newer version)

Second runner-up though is Bob & Dough McKenzie's 12 Days of Christmas

For us "sensitive" types out here, do you really think one asterisk makes it all better?

This falls into the somewhat odd category.

Rob Halford from Judas Priest from his new album
