Things to do on a sunday with kids?

Hi Im new to Zurich and I have a 1month old, 2yo and 4yo and im wondering if i could get some good ideas for things to do with this age group?
Id love to go sledging but it is pretty difficult with a newborn, 2 hyperactive kids and one pair of hands!
Does anyone know of a good park with swing ect or walk with a cafe at the end -will have to bribe to walk far!

Thanks!

Rapperswil Kinderzoo is brilliant - except it doesn't open until March 6th.

It'll be an entertaining day out when it opens, though!

Artergut park, near Kreuzplatz, is recommended. If there has been some snow in Zurich city, you can theoretically sled on the mound in the park - it's pretty good for kids that age...

A trip on the Dolder Bahn from Romerhof, and the cafe 'petit pain' is usually open on Sundays (Romerhof).

Around the art gallery, the cafe next to the 'sachspielhaus' (theatre) is usually open on Sundays. So is the pizza place at Bellevue...we stop there a lot...

Taking a tram ride is usually attractive to my kids - they don't care where we go...

With kids that small, going along the lakeside is probably not so fun, but there is a playground behind the Landesmuseum near the main train station.

There's plenty to do...I remember now when we first arrived we didn't realise all the public parks were fenced in...now we know...there are lots of 'hidden' parks around there.

you can go shooting with them at an indoor range maybe ?

or if you`re a more conventional parent, you can take them to trampolino close
to dietikon/spreitenbach

The zoological museum is pretty good. It's free entry, and although there isn't a cafe, you can get hot drinks from a machine and there are some tables where you can sit and eat anything you've brought from home. My four year old loves this place, as she can just run around from animal to animal.

There's also the tram museum. Not very flash, as it is basically a very big garage full of old trams. But kids love it, as they can jump on all the trams and ring the bells etc. It also has a few toys to play with (model train). If you go, dress warmly a I remember it being very cold, even though technically it was inside.
