if you are employed with a proof of employment and have a residence permit then yes, should not be an issue!

good luck.

Based on my personal experience in 2015, you will face rejection if you have a L permit. At least that was the reason quoted for my rejection then. Once I got a B, then the process went through without any issue.

Re: The Migros credit card

Why not go for Revolut / TransferWise?

Debit rather than credit but free, can buy things online, currency exchange rate can't be beaten

Re: The Migros credit card

Moneyland.ch does a fairly good job of comparing Swiss credit card options.
https://www.moneyland.ch/en/credit-cards-comparison

The credit card cashback / reward benefits are so pitiful in Switzerland, it's hard to justify paying any annual fee. Because of that, I opted for the Migros card which has minimal rewards but no fee.

I only use it for the domestic spending that doesn't make sense for my US credit cards (which have much better rewards but require a US credit history and sometimes a working address to acquire).
