Great post...I am an American, but my ancestry is Norwegian, I lived in Sweden many years ago and I think Iceland is one of the coolest places ever...one of the stopovers for my drunken ancestors rowing their longboats over to the new world...which they forgot to write about as they were probably too hammered!
Glad things have worked out for you here and this is one more example of what the EF has done to change people's lives. fduvall

such a good post- and it's funny i think we've all been thru the ups and downs that come with picking up and moving on... not always easy but finding support, friends and a place to vent/share/laugh is so helpful!

the first time i met you begga, was with "the bald guy" we went to the basel photo shoot. you were sitting at the cafe in a sulk and said we were all late - when in actual fact you had the wrong time zone on your computer, so you were an hour early. i offered you a ciggie (back when you still smoked)- then you somewhat ok. but i did think "god-what a moody cow" ;-)
fast forward to almost 10 mths later,and who would have thought we'd end up hammering nails together into a piece of wood in a biker bar at 2 am -eh?
