Any Brazilians on the Forum?

Probably not. Wondered where you are all watching the world cup matches, there seems to be quite a few of you in Switzerland

Re: Any Brazilians on the Forum?

Hi,

My partner is Brazilian and we are wondering the same thing...Any good spots for Brazilians to hang out and watch the world cup games together, Zug, Zurich or Lucerne would work for us!

Hello I'm Brazilian, and where I work there's at least more 3 of us. In the last word cup they had a big screen (Telão) in the river near the limmatplatz in Zurich, also the smae thing in the HB and in Bellevue.

I've been told (not on the forum) that there is also a big screen at the landesmuseum, wherever that is, that is supposed to be outside

Re: Any Brazilians on the Forum?

Hey, I'm another Brazilian living on the mountains. I've been here for 2 years only so I haven't experienced any World Cup here.
I know there's gonna have public viewing at the landesmuseum in Zurich. I'm sure when Brazil is playing there will be crowded of Brazilians.
As I work and live outside Zurich area (Wollerau) I'll most likely watch most of the matches at home with some friends. On Weekends I might go to landesmuseum to watch some matches even if Brazil is not playing.

My wife is also Brazilian and where I work there are 3 more.

We could organize to watch together at least the matches that happen on weekends...

So, Im just reading the Blick and there's a list with few places where they'll have big screens to watch the matchs, in the Landesmuseum it will be free during the first round, probably I would go there since it's the nearst place to where I work. The landesmuseum if you don't know is this castles just in front the Hauptbahnhof when leaving by the Sihlquai.

That's on the side of the Zurich HB (platform 18), by the park with all the bikes.

Re: Any Brazilians on the Forum?

I once dated a woman who , despite a very heavy Boston accent, claimed to be Brazilian

it was only on the third date I understood.
