Me I scratch a the top layer of my lips skin with my finger nails until I bleed... I do it when I'm bored, or nervous. And each night I have to apply a thick layer of moisturiser so that my lips are more or less healed the next day so I can start over...

I've doing it for years and years, to the point that my kids now tend to copy me...
Interesting, I do that too (always have, specially when pondering and I ponder a lot). I started to trick myself by keeping lip balm everywhere (each and every room of the flat, car, handbag ... anywhere) as it gets more difficult to rip the skin off when they're slippery, LOL but I still manage to do it.
Not met anyone else who does that before though.

How ever, I was wondering: Is clinging to things a weird habit or just a sign of age in times of throwaway society?
I got a (huge) shelf in my office-cupboard packed with books. Mainly IT-, webdesign-, html books (yes, terribly outdated most of them) and cook books.
So yesterday I figured I could really use that space, considering a) many books are out-dated, b) I have not looked at any of them since I put them in there 12 years ago, c) anything (from recipes to IT-info and all in between) is available on internet now.

So I had this grand idea: I will get some moving boxes (meaning BUY some ), pack them all in there and put them in the cellar. I was mighty pleased with my solution, I must admit.

Today all looks different again: As a), b) and c) all point out that I should simply get rid of them instead of moving them to an other place in the house?

I find it weird, the process I seem to go through to make a simple decision. Specially as decision making normally really isn't difficult for me. I wonder how long the process takes and what the end-result will be.

And maybe I'm just stalling cleanning that cupboard ...
It's all a matter or perspective.
So move your butt and look at it from the other side

Why procrastinate today, when you can put it off until tomorrow?
