I stand on one leg when I clean my teeth.
(Actually this was KatePT's idea and a good one at that!)

I walk down stairs sideways. For me it's common sense, but other people find it pretty strange. Oh, and I walk on escalators, for which I'm constantly getting told off in Switzerland@

When I eat a fruit pie, I always eat the fruit first and the dough after... Same with pizza.

Can I get a second go? I like to switch the settings on displayed iPhones and iPads in stores so that the main language is Japanese or Chinese, meaning that you have to master reset the device to understand how to proceed. | This user would like to thank Assassin for this useful post:

I also do the sheet/duvet up to the neck thing in bed. I hate the feeling of breath on my skin...freaks me out.
I also count my steps.....all the time. I try to stop, I'll normally realise I'm doing it when I get to around 100, so I'll stop, only to realise one minute later I've already counted to 100 again..... It is an interesting cycle but normally takes up the whole walk home.... | This user would like to thank la_canadiense for this useful post:

I cannot have any sound in the car, besides radio. If something is rattling I need to pull over and find it. Drives my gf mad.
I will also avoid stranger contact (touch) with friends fine but with strangers I get grossed out....

when driving, i check the plate numbers of the car in front of me and try to find a mathematical equation relating the numbers. If i find a relation I consider the driver to be a perfect person. If not then it's probably an @sshole
Example: ZH 352 015 --> 35-20=15
PS1: yes I'm crazy
PS2: There are far many @ssholes than one may believe

if i need to delete eg: 67, I do not put the cursor to the beginning and push delete twice, or to the end and push backspace twice, I put the cursor to the middle and push delete once and backspace once | This user would like to thank finesse for this useful post:

I also love setting the demo egg timers in department stores as well as Alarm clocks.
In the Clyde tunnel in Glasgow, there are 2 Lanes in each direction. When you come out of the tunnel on the north side, the exit is right after the tunnel, and there are always some idiots, who try to push in in front of you. We invented a wee game in trying to get these cheeky buggers to miss their exit.

I have to eat coloured sweets, like skittles, in a certain order (yellow, orange, purple, red, green) and always in twos. If theres an uneven number I have to leave the odd one or give it to someone else.

I don't do odd numbers! The volume on the TV and stereo have to be on an even number. If they aren't I can't concentrate on anything else unitil it is changed! Guess that is why I have 4 children instead of 3!
I also use to hang my washing out on the clothesline using all the pegs in one colour before using another colour. If I got to the end of the peg basket and discovered a colour that had already been used I would have to go back and change all of them! | The following 3 users would like to thank ka pai for this useful post:

Dont have a clothesline over here so I make do with paperclips. But yes, when theres a multiple choice of colour for anything, one colour has to be completely used up before starting on the next.

I must admit having kids playing with the pegs all the time seemed to cure me. I got sick of having to sort the colours and put them correctly back into the basket after they had been playing with them!

PS2: There are far many @ssholes than one may believe | | | | | I try to memorize random plate numbers as well as the car they belong to. I often see a car whose plate I recognize as well as the car make/model. | Quote: | | | | | I used to do that too. Dont have a clothesline over here so I make do with paperclips. I have to use the same colour pegs on a garment.
I'm a bit of a germ freak and neat freak but since having kids I don't have the time, plus my 2 year old has started imitating and I don't thinks it's cool for a 2 year old to copy my craziness!

I do that too, Nettie. With the purple last because I dont like them. I only eat them in emergencies when I need some sweets and there are no others in the house.

Doc. | | | | | I'm fond of the word "wee". Especially if followed by the word "gem" Always makes me smile. I think it reminds me of Billy Connolly. |
