I would turn it back down to 10, and if (like my dad) he refused just to torment me, I would leave the room. We avoid all of these problems by routing the computer sound (we watch stuff online and play DVDs on the computer) through a hifi... which has a volume dial. Much better.

What about the habit of saving the best for last, when it comes to food. I always end up having the best stuff ive saved taken from my plate before i get to them.
And i never toast only 2 slices of bread. Depending on the toaster, theres always a space for half a slice of bread in between or i put one more horizontally on top of the 2 vertical slices. Im gaga about this

I always put a little bit of everything that is on my plate on my fork for each mouthful - that way you are left with a little bit of everything on your plate. I was not even aware that I did this until my husband pointed it out ... he, on the other hand, eats all of one thing, then another. And when he has a full English he eats the white of the egg, then everything else and eats the yolk at the end.

I know quite some people who eat their eggs like that. My dad likes to chop it first in tiny cubes, its entertaining to watch.

The proper way to eat a fried egg is as follows;
Take your first slice of Warburtons, add chips (yes, there must be chips) and fold in half. Eat this first chip butty, dipping it in the yolk until the runny yolk is gone. Finish eating the chip butty.
Take your second slice of Warburtons, add chips, add the aforementioned egg and fold in half. If there are more eggs, then repeat the procedure until the eggs are eaten.

| | Re: Weird habits | Quote: | | | | | While your writing posture doesn't give you away as a left-hander, your actual writing probably does. See here. Turning the paper gives lefties away whilst writing, but the finished product then looks quite similar to right-handed writing. | | | | | I am lefty and I turn the page so that I'm writing from top to bottom, right to left, like in Japanese. This habit was picked up when I was taking Japanese in school while at the same time, having to deal with those stupid student desks which were designed with righties in mind.
Turning the page (and sitting slightly kitty-whompus in the chair) was the only way I could write while having adequate support for my paper / notebook. | Quote: | | | | | I always put a little bit of everything that is on my plate on my fork for each mouthful - that way you are left with a little bit of everything on your plate. And when he has a full English he eats the white of the egg, then everything else and eats the yolk at the end. | | | | | I went through a period of eating all of one thing before eating the next and also, like your hubby, I eat my egg white first and yolk last UNLESS I'm having toast, in which case I dip it and eat the liquid yolk first, then whites (and everything else) before putting the solid yolk bit on whatever is left of my toast and eat it like a sandwich.
And... I suddenly have a craving for eggs and toast. | The following 4 users would like to thank Peg A for this useful post: | |

My husband thinks its yucky and only wants it well done. I like the liquid yolk on my rice.
