Re: who's been rain dancing again?!

All the reports I've seen have said sun on Friday (albeit with bouts of rain, but I'll take it), Sat and Sunday...

Enough rain now!

Having recently moved (february) to Luzern from Bristol, I`m somewhat suprised at the amount of rain I`m seeing! I know I`m at the foot of the Alps but can someone who has lived here longer than a couple of months tell me if this is normal? And... what sort of weather can i look forward to in the coming months...!
Cheers, from a wet but beautiful Luzern.

John

Huh? It didn't rain (well real rain not a thunderstorm) for almost 3 weeks a few weeks ago. It was freaking hot and humid

Re: who's been rain dancing again?!

Well, here in Belp, just south of Bern there is a big black cloud centered right over the town, pouring rain and a little hail, while the sky is blue all around me. Who me, paranoid?

nahhhhhhh

Re: who's been rain dancing again?!

i mean, this is switzerland, right? you expect, they would have already regulated the rain : separate the country into regions, blue zone/yellow zone/whatever, and then let it rain only on certain times :P

OH I was hoping this may have been a thread for people who love danicng in the rain....
When the masses cower under door ways come evening showers, my favourite thing to do is to take off my shoes and walk home.

But I agree... I really hope we get another stretch of summer before Autumn creeps in.

My dog loves to dance in the rain, sort of. She runs outside and tries to catch the rain in her mouth, and barks at it. But then sometimes it makes her sneeze. It's a very strange performance.

Re: who's been rain dancing again?!

question is : should we trust that 'full-sun' icon in the weather forecasts for tomorrow.. the dark clouds in the sky looks threatening...
