In my flat I've found some great pans, etc from SIGG...

Well, I'd love to buy some but when I surf on the web, looking for info about, they just show nice waterbottle...

Any clue?

Ta in advance.

Yep. You can find them on Ricardo though quite easily, and I've seen them at the Salvation Army too. I think there was a Coop promo at one time featuring them. I have a medium size one and it compares well to All-Clad and Kuhn Rikon that's in the kitchen.

Yup. I was going to say they don't make them anymore. I have a pressure cooker from 1985! I love it. Not too long ago, it wouldn't pressurize. I was looking to change the rubber thing & was really sad to hear they didn't make kitchenware anymore. Luckily it started working again. But if anyone can find & send me the rubber replacement thing, I'd send you some dulce de leche!

I doubt miniMia is still searching for the Dichtungsring after 10 years but in case anyone else is looking for a seal for a Sigg pressure cooker this one from WMF is being advertised as fitting, also saw someone confirm same on a forum. The 22cm is currently rarer than unicorn sweat; Galaxus are quoting feb delivery, I think I just ordered the last one in Switzerland.

Re: Sigg kitchenware

I don't want to come over as some sort of pressure cooker nerd, but for posterity; the above gasket does not fit a Sigg pressure cooker but the Kuhn Rikon part number 1501 worked perfectly as a replacement on my Sigg cooker for Sigg part number 0201.60

Re: Sigg kitchenware

Can't say much about the pressure cooker you got there. Although a few times a month I like to use a pressure cooker.

Got an Italian made Mepra 1950 manual pressure cooker here along with a fancy Instant Pot electronic pressure cooker, ordered from Ama - UK a few years back. Both are wonderful for rice and potatoes, which I always struggle to get just perfect; as well as practically anything else.

Sigg Kitchenware seems to be a blast from the past, we have a couple pieces. Sigg Stainless Steel "Las Vegas" around 2.5-3 liter sauce pot and around 5 liter stock pot. Both pieces have taken a fair share of hardwork for the last 5-6 years, since I love to cook. My spouse had them for years, probably 20+ before I moved here. They really still shine great though and considering the age could still fairly be rated 9 out 10.

* Wish I could find such a great find of some more SIGG kitchenware at the local thrift store like Brocki but never have.

Re: Sigg kitchenware

We recently got a nice full set of SIGG pots at the decheterie, in the little area we leave stuff too good to throw away.

Excellent condition and great quality.. and free
