With such a long list, I'm amazed you would even try.
Speed dating's fine, providing you can control the constant sniffing and nose scratching, teeth biting and grinding and slow down on the incessant, constant, meaningless, garbled rambling, delivered at machine-gun pace, and let the other one get the occasional word in.

sure it does... but they schedule it 3 months in advance, and you have to pick what you will want to drink when you sign up.
And, the last but not the least, if you don't show up on the scheduled date, you'll be put on the blacklist. 3 no show-ups, and you'll be blacklisted for your lifetime, AND NOBODY WILL EVER SPEED DATE YOU AGAIN!

I think thats common the world through, unless you happen to be a celebrity hunk.
What happened to the romantic idea of just running into somebody, by pure chance..
That's how it happened to me, pure chance, nothing pre-determined or high pressure situation like speed dating or the bar scene scenario. But this was back in the good ol' 80's....
I've tried speed dating a few times, but the windrush and the cops chasing us down the freeway makes one helluva noise and I can never figure out what the girls' saying.....
"He was a hard-headed man
He was brutally handsome, and she was terminally pretty...."
I have been to a speed dating event about 2 months ago in Winterthur because I wanted to see how it was and I wanted to investigate whether it would be something that I would like to organize. I am still walking around with the idea because I think it is a great way to meet a lot of people in a short time, especially for people that have a time consuming job. What do you think, would there be any interest?
