I am writing reports on bibliography research, it gets tedious sometimes. Pomodoros, where are you.

Re: Students' Corner

Has anyone been to the med test? Is there a good way to prepare? My daughter wants to start vet school and they require every student take this test and it's the same as the "normal" med school students have to take.

Great idea MC, by the way,

It is the same test, but to study veterinary medicine a lower score is sufficient

Re: Students' Corner

Thanks for the info. We were more wondering in terms of what exactly are the questions about? Just random knowledge? And does it make sense to take a prep course for it?

Re: Students' Corner

Given the competition it's worth doing the prep courses. The only med. students I know (2) did prep courses and both said that whilst they might have passed without a prep course they felt much better with the extra help and were glad they had done one. Apparently many people round here (Zürich) tend to do them if they possibly can. Both pointed out that even getting a place on a medical course doesn't mean that a student will cope with passing the first year. But that of course is up to the student.

Re: Students' Corner

Hi, for students studying in Zurich, Ive found a usefull resorse for extra classes and learning resorces, there is a free school thats open for all and has a range of classes aswell as free internet, libary, sports clubs, cinema and other great resorces. Ive found it realy usefull! Here is a link to their website: http://www.bildung-fuer-alle.ch/

Anyone is also able to start their own class, workshop or club too and its a friendley enviroment to socalise and meet people. I think its a great project and would recomend others to check it out!
